From 2020, personnel for the veterinary industry to be trained in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- A branch of a higher education, which will train personnel for the veterinary industry, will start its work in Tashkent.

The Government adopted a resolution “On the establishment of the Tashkent branch of the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine”.

In accordance with the resolution, the Tashkent branch of the Samarkand Institute of Veterinary Medicine is a structural unit of the Institute with the status of a legal entity.

The Branch prepares personnel for the following areas of undergraduate studies:

- Zooengineering;

- Veterinary medicine;

- Veterinary sanitary examination;

- Veterinary diagnostics and laboratory work.

The educational process in the branch begins with the academic year 2020/2021, and the number of students enrolled is determined based on the parameters of admission to universities of the republic.
