From 1 March 2020, the functioning of gas stations not equipped with sanitary and hygienic units is not allowed

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - The Government adopted a resolution “On measures for the further development of roadside and tourist infrastructure”.

According to the resolution, it was established that from 1 March 2020, the functioning of CNG filling stations, gas filling stations and gas stations that are not equipped with public hygiene units meeting the requirements of sanitary and urban norms and rules is not allowed.

For this purpose, republican and territorial working groups have been formed.

Failure to comply with decisions and requirements of territorial groups on the construction of sanitary and hygienic units in relation to CNG and sas stations will be the basis for:

- temporary suspension of gas and oil products, respectively;

- taking measures to terminate their license.

By 20 November 2020, if necessary, CNG filling stations, gas filling stations, gas stations will be allocated additional land for the construction of sanitary facilities.
