French Senators to pay visit to Uzbekistan

French Embassy in Uzbekistan said that the delegation will include Senators Yves Pozzo di Borgo and Michel Boutant, as well as executive secretary of the Friendship Group Michel Laflandre.

The delegation will visit several regions of Uzbekistan within the environmental mission, the Embassy said.

During the visit, the delegation will hold meetings at Senate and Legislative Chamber of Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, as well as several ministries of the country.

French Embassy in Uzbekistan said that the visit of French Senators to Uzbekistan will be important stage in developing long-term inter-parliamentary relations between two states.

Parliamentary cooperation is an important direction of the French-Uzbek cooperation.
