Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Embassy of Uzbekistan in France organized a videoconference with the participation of specialists from the Central Public Hospital of Paris “AP-HP” (Assistance publique - Hôpitaux de Paris), employees of the Ministry of Health and medical specialists from Uzbekistan, Dunyo reported.
Assistance publique - Hôpitaux de Paris is the largest hospital system in Europe. In addition to providing emergency medical services, training and research are carried out in 52 branches of medicine. More than 90 thousand people work in 44 hospitals. Today, AP-HP hospitals are at the forefront of the fight against COVID-19.
Against the backdrop of the global spread of coronavirus, the countries of the world are taking comprehensive measures to counter the spread of coronavirus. Thanks to the efforts made and the dedicated work of doctors, a gradual stabilization of the global epidemiological situation is observed today.
During the teleconference, French resuscitators, infectious disease specialists, virologists and therapists praised the quarantine measures undertaken by the leadership of Uzbekistan, which can effectively curb the widespread spread of the virus throughout the country.
The discipline of the population of Uzbekistan deserves a special assessment, which everywhere observes the rules of quarantine and self-isolation, thereby facilitating the work of doctors. The fact that Tashkent is the leader in the list of CIS capitals with the highest, almost 100 percent self-isolation rate speaks for itself.
During the event, French experts shared their experience in the fight against coronavirus and studies conducted in the fight against this disease. They talked about the main types of testing and diagnosis of COVID-19, and also shared recommendations on the provision of therapy for patients.
In addition, the doctors at the Central Public Hospital of Paris informed about the epidemiological surveillance systems established in France, which allows to determine and suppress the spread of the virus, as well as to predict its further dynamics.
“During the video bridge, we were once again convinced that the medical specialists of Uzbekistan show great interest in studying foreign experience in treating people with coronavirus,” says Florence Weber, Director of the Department of International Relations of the AP-HP Hospital. - This is evidenced by their active participation with professionally prepared questions. I would like to separately note the role of the leadership of Uzbekistan, which took timely and operational measures to prevent the widespread spread of coronavirus in the country.
