French envoy holds meeting with Senate chairperson

According to the Embassy of France in Uzbekistan, the sides discussed the French-Uzbek relations in all spheres and perspectives of inter-parliamentary cooperation.

The chairperson of the Senate presented information to the envoy on activities of the both chambers of the Oliy Majlis of Uzbekistan, law-making process, election process to parliament, as well as political and economic reforms in Uzbekistan.

The sides underlined good dynamics of political dialogue between parliaments of two states, as well as cultural, academic and technical cooperation. They expressed hope for further developing economic relations.
