The agency said that on 8 July the freight train left Shahe (North China) for Tashkent, the capital of Uzbekistan.
This is the first international Freight railway route between the region of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei and Central Asia.
The train transports glass, strollers and other products, the Chinese agency said.
The new route will pass via Shijiazhuang, Taiyuan, Urumqi to Almaty, Kazakhstan, and its final destination will be Tashkent, Uzbekistan.
The length of the route is about 5,000 km, travel time 8 days. This is currently the fastest route between China and Central Asia.
