Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In Tashkent, a fragment of cladding from the elevated metro fell onto a parked car, though no injuries were reported.
The incident occurred on the “Elevated Ring” line between Kuylyk and Yangiabad stations.
According to the press service of the Tashkent Metro, a small section of plaster detached from the upper structure of the line due to natural vibrations caused by train movement, damaging a vehicle parked beneath the metro line.
The damage to the car was minor.
Metro staff promptly inspected the area, fully restored the damaged facade, and carried out additional safety checks.
The agency emphasized that all structures are under continuous technical supervision and comply with established safety standards. Drivers were advised to park only in designated areas to minimize the risk of similar incidents.
