Four Uzbek research organizations included to rating of The Global Go To Think Tanks Report

Think Tanks and Civil Societies Program published The Global Go To Think Tanks Report 2013, which made up lists of the best think tanks of the world.

The Global Go To Think Tanks Report 2013 includes 6,826 research institutes of the world, and their activities were rated by 1,900 experts – scholars, journalists, officials, businesses and philanthropists. The Centers were ranked on regional and sector of research.

According to the report, the Center for Economic Research (CER) took the 16th place among 80 best scientific-research institutions of Central Asia and 18th place in Asia and Pacific. The ranking of Asia excludes institutes from China, Japan, India and South Koreas.

The Center for Political Studies (32nd place), Institute for Strategic and Inter-regional studies under the President of Uzbekistan (50th place) and Center for social research “Tahlil” (62nd place) were included to the list of the 80 top think tanks of Central Asia.
