Four citizens of Uzbekistan injured in road accident in Kyrgyzstan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Four citizens of Uzbekistan, including a child, were injured in a traffic accident in Issyk-Kul region of Kyrgyzstan, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The road accident, involving a minibus and a car, occurred in Kyzyl Oruk village of Issyk Kyl region at 11:30 on 3 August 2017. The accident occurred on 17 km of the road Balykchi-Cholpon-Ata-Kara-Kol highway.

Four citizens of Uzbekistan, including a child, were injured in the accident. They were in the minibus. Five more people along with the citizens of Uzbekistan also injured. All of them were hospitalized.

Currently, the investigative and operational group is working on the scene of the accident.

The diplomatic mission of Uzbekistan established contact with representatives of local law enforcement agencies. The consular department of the Embassy is working on identifying injured citizens of Uzbekistan and taking action to provide necessary assistance to them.
