Foundry-mechanical plant exports products for US$950,000

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Foundry-Mechanical Plant exported products worth US$950,000, the press service of Uzbekistan Temir Yollari said in its statement.

According to the company, casting of cast iron products in 2018 grew by 128.1% of the total plan or 2,710.9 tonnes. It should be noted that the casting of steel products rose by 125%.

In 2017, 699 tonnes of steel and 594.4 tonnes of iron products were produced at the plant.

In 2018, for the first time in Uzbekistan, the plant’s specialists carried out casting work on the brake part of the trolley.

Also in 2018, 295 cars were produced (most gondolas). Also, the company has repaired 581 freight cars. Starting from the current year, the plant plans to produce 24-meter wide fitting platforms in a wide range.
