Forty-one students of Pre-University courses become IUT students before the entrance exams
Every year, the Continuing Education Center conducts Pre-University Courses for prospective students in such subjects as mathematics, physics and English language.
The center attracts experienced and highly qualified teachers and strictly controls the education process. Every trimester students take midterm exams, and only successful listeners continue their studies.
In the beginning of 2017-2018 academic year, 460 young people registered for one-year and two-year Pre-University Courses and only 147 of them got a chance to take part in final exams.
On 19 June 2018, the final examinations in mathematics and physics were conducted by Inha University specialists from Korea as in main entrance exams to IUT.
The examination questionnaires were prepared in South Korea and brought to Uzbekistan the day before the exams. To solve the questions, the students were given one hour for each subject.
On 2 July 2018, the Continuing Education Center of Inha University in Tashkent announced the results of the final examinations. As a result of the examinations, thirty-four students of the Pre-University Courses were admitted to School of Computer and Information Engineering (SOCIE) of IUT before the entrance examinations and seven students to School of Logistics (SOL).
Students, who were unable to enter on the results of the final examinations of Pre-University Courses, retain the opportunity to enter Inha University in Tashkent. They must take part in the entrance examinations of the university, which will be held on 19 and 20 July, 2018.
In recent years, a large number of students of Pre-University Courses have become students of Inha University in Tashkent by the results of entrance examinations.
It should be reminded that prospective students must register and submit all the necessary documents for admission to Inha University in Tashkent until 9 July 2018.
It should be noted that following the results of entrance examinations to universities in 2017, 94% students of the Pre-University Courses of the IUT Continuing Education Center became the university students. At the same time, 73% of the students entered the IUT. The center expects that this percentage will grow this year.
For comparison, in 2016, 82% of the participants in the Pre-University Courses of the Continuing Education Center became students, of which 61% were enrolled in IUT.
