Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 8 July this year, a regular meeting of the General Council of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan was held.

The meeting, held in the format of a videoconference, was attended by members of the General Council, deputy chairmen of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan and senior officials of the apparatus, chairmen of the Republican Councils of sectoral trade unions and regional councils of the Federation and their deputies, heads of subordinate organizations. It is reported by the Portal of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.

The meeting of the General Council was chaired by the Chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan, Senator Kudratilla Rafikov.

The organizational issue was considered at the meeting.

Zainilobiddin Nizomiddinov was unanimously elected as the first deputy chairman of the Federation of Trade Unions of Uzbekistan.
