Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 19 November 2019, the Military Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Uzbekistan opened a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code in respect of the former commander of the Guard troops of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, Major General D. Pan, an investigation is underway.

According to an official statement from the Prosecutor General’s Office, on 23 November 2019, D. Pan was brought to trial as an accused under Part 1 of Article 301 of the Criminal Code, by the determination of the Tashkent Military Court, the preventive measure “detention” was chosen against him.

Investigative actions are ongoing.
