Former Building of “Mushkambar” Café Catches Fire in Tashkent at Night

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — In the early hours of February 19, the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Uzbekistan received a report of a fire at the building of the former café “Mushkambar”, which was undergoing renovations and located on Kiziltut Street in the Almazar district of the capital.

According to the ministry, the fire alarm was received by the Tashkent City Main Department of Emergency Situations at 01:03. Fire and rescue units arrived at the scene at 01:10. The fire was contained by 01:44 and completely extinguished by 01:57.

No casualties were reported. Specialists are currently investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the extent of the material damage.
