Foreign trade company Uzagroexport created in Uzbekistan

New enterprises was created within the Uzbekoziqovqatholding. The company will focus its efforts on fully using export potential of Uzbekistan and development of modern trade-logistic infrastructure to promote goods to exports.

Director-general of Uzagroexport will be also deputy chairperson of Uzbekoziqovqatholding.

New company will conduct market research of global markets and regional markets of fruits and vegetables, as well as promote products of Uzbekistan.

Uzagroexport will also expand material-technical base of enterprises and organizations with attracting foreign investments and modern logistics systems.

Uztadbirkorexport and Uzulgurjisavdoinvest will hand over trade-purchase bases and cold storages to Uzagroexport.

From 1 May, President of Uzbekistan also set an order, in line with which enterprises, exporting fruits and vegetables, have to sell 50% of currency revenue to the government.
