Foreign Ministries of Uzbekistan and Russia hold political consultations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia held political consultations in Tashkent on 27 May 2014, which was attended by the Russian delegation led by director of the third department of the CIS states of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Aleksander Sternik.

The consultations were held within the programme of cooperation between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Russia for 2014, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.

The sides discussed actual issues of the Uzbek-Russian relations and regional issues, as well as exchanged opinion on some international problems.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Russian Federation Vladimir Tyurdenev participated in the meeting.
