Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Spain sign cooperation programme
At the meeting, the sides underlined that they consider current meeting as continuation of fruitful dialogue between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Spain, which was started in November 2013 during the official visit of the Uzbek delegation to Spain.
At the meeting, the sides affirmed mutual interest in further strengthening Uzbek-Spanish cooperation in political, trade-economic, investment, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres.
Ministers also exchanged opinion on actual international and regional issues, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
After the negotiations, Abdulaziz Kamilov and Jose Manuel Garcia-Margallo signed a programme of cooperation between Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan and Spain for 2014-2016 and held press conference for local and foreign mass media.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Spain to Uzbekistan with residence in Moscow José Ignacio Carbajal Gárate participated in the event.
