Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Saudi Arabia hold talks

The meeting was held within the visit of the delegation of Uzbekistan to Saudi Arabia to participate in the first session of the Economic Forum “Arab League – Central Asia and Azerbaijan”.

During the meeting the ministers discussed current state and priority areas for further development of bilateral relations, the press service of the Foreign Ministry of Uzbekistan said.

The sides positively assessed the prospects of a new format of interregional cooperation “Arab League – Central Asia and Azerbaijan”, which should become an important platform for policy dialogue, expanding trade, development of transport and communication, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

The sides exchanged views on some international and regional issues.
