Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan discuss bilateral relations

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan Abdulaziz Kamilov, who arrived in Bishkek to participate in the ministerial meeting of the countries of Central Asia and the European Union, held talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Chingiz Aydarbekov on 6 July 2019.

The heads of the foreign affairs agencies discussed issues of Uzbek-Kyrgyz relations, ways to further strengthen and develop cooperation, and also exchanged views on the agenda of the 15th Ministerial Meeting "Central Asia - European Union."

The sides noted with satisfaction that regular contacts at the highest level created a favorable atmosphere in relations between Uzbekistan and Kyrgyzstan, which makes it possible to jointly find mutually acceptable solutions on all issues of bilateral relations and interaction in the international arena.

The ministers also exchanged views on the schedule of upcoming meetings at various levels.
