Foreign Ministers of Uzbekistan and Great Britain hold meeting
During the negotiations, the sides considered current state and perspectives of the Uzbek-British relations in politics, trade-economic, military-technical, cultural-humanitarian and other spheres, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan said.
It was noted that regular fruitful contacts at various level demonstrate mutual intend to deepen multilateral relations and form long-term constructive relations, taking into account interests of each other.
Ministers exchanged opinion on international issues in the context of developments in the world, including in Afghanistan and Central Asia overall.
At the meeting, the sides also considered practical aspects of deepening of cooperation among institutions of education and culture of two nations.
The Uzbek side handed over official invitation to William Hague to visit Uzbekistan, which was accepted with gratitude.
