Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - According to the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Ankara, the Turkish Ministry of Internal Affairs announced amendments to the rules for international freight traffic on the territory of the country.
In particular, foreign drivers are allowed to enter Turkey without waiting for a 14-day quarantine period, provided they leave the country as soon as possible.
Foreign cargo carriers on board the vessel (RoRo operations) are allowed to be on board the vessel carrying out transportation in the directions of Zonguldak-Chernomorsk (Illichivsk), Istanbul-Chernomorsk, Karasuk-Chernomorsk, Constanta-Karasu, Tashuju-Tripoli and “Mersin-Haifa” (previously, drivers were not allowed to the ship, only semi-trailers / trailers were accepted).
If symptoms of the disease are detected, foreign drivers will be denied entry to Turkey.
In this regard, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan recommends that individuals and legal entities planning to carry out international freight transportation through the territory of Turkey take this decision of the Turkish side into account.
