Foreign Companies Paid 124.8 Billion Soums in Taxes for Digital Services in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — From January to September 2025, 73 foreign companies providing digital services in Uzbekistan paid 124.8 billion soums in taxes, an increase of 44% compared to the same period in 2024.

The ten largest foreign companies accounted for 93% of all tax revenues. Leading the list were Meta with 35.2 billion soums, Apple with 35.1 billion soums, and Google with 31.2 billion soums.

Other major taxpayers included OpenAI (4.7 billion soums), Booking.com (2.9 billion soums), TikTok (2.6 billion soums), Netflix (1.3 billion soums), as well as Acca, Zoom, and Amazon, each contributing 1.1 billion soums.

Foreign companies providing electronic services are required to submit tax reports and pay taxes no later than the 20th day of the month following the end of each quarter.
