Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) - For residents of Yunusabad district of Tashkent, the basic rate of natural gas consumption has been canceled.
Such a decision was made by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan taking into account the quarantine situation in which most residents spend their time at home, the press service of Khududgaztaminot JSC reports.
It should be noted that the introduction of the new system in Yunusabad district of the capital began on 1 January 2019. In accordance with it, the basic rate of natural gas consumption for residents of the district was determined at a rate of 1000 cubic meters per month per subscriber living in a residential building or apartment with individual heating during the heating season, in other cases - 250 cubic meters per month per subscriber. Calculation of natural gas consumption in excess of the basic norm was carried out using an increasing factor of 1.2 to the established tariff.
In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan “On Additional Measures to Improve the Mechanism for the Sale of Natural Gas and Electric Energy” from 18 June 2020, the activities of Khududgaztaminot JSC in the country’s gas supply system were significantly expanded.
In particular, Khududgaztaminot JSC was given the opportunity to purchase natural gas from Uztransgaz JSC under a sales contract - when delivered through a gas transmission system, as well as from natural gas producers - when delivered directly to gas distribution networks through which “blue fuel” will be sent to the population, social facilities and other consumers.
