Football match among amateurs ended tragically

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 7 August 2019, a man died in the result of a quarrel during a football match in Ferghana district of Ferghana region.

During the match, a 26-year-old man hit the 18-year old man in the face and he fell to the ground and hit his head.

The victim was hospitalized, but despite the medical assistance provided, he died in the hospital. The 26-man was detained.

A criminal case has been opened, an investigation is underway.
