FlyArystan Resumes Direct Flights from Samarkand to Almaty

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Kazakh low-cost carrier FlyArystan has announced the start of ticket sales for international flights on the Almaty–Samarkand–Almaty route as part of its spring and autumn 2026 schedules, the airline’s press service reports.

Flights will operate twice a week, on Tuesdays and Saturdays. Spring flights are scheduled from 21 March to 30 May, while autumn flights will run from 1 September to 24 October.

Richard Ledger, President of FlyArystan JSC, emphasized that expanding the airline’s international route network remains a priority. “In 2026, FlyArystan will continue developing direct air connections within Central Asia, maintaining a focus on affordable travel and sustainable operations. The resumption of flights on the Almaty–Samarkand–Almaty route reflects consistent passenger demand for travel to Uzbekistan and aligns fully with our strategic objectives,” he said.

Tickets are already available for booking via the FlyArystan mobile app, the official website flyarystan.com, and all other sales channels.

FlyArystan is a Kazakh low-cost airline fully owned by the Air Astana group. The airline began operations in May 2019 and serves an extensive route network using modern Airbus A320 aircraft, with bases in Almaty, Astana, and Aktau. Its network includes domestic and international destinations, as well as charter flights. FlyArystan was named the best low-cost airline in Central Asia and the CIS by the Skytrax World Airline Awards in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
