Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — TEXNOPARK hosted a signing ceremony for a shareholder agreement between Sarvar Akhadov, CEO of TEXNOPARK, and Peter James Flanagan, Senior Vice President of FLSmidth Inc.
The agreement formalizes the creation of the joint venture FLS TEXNO and confirms both parties’ commitment to long-term, mutually beneficial cooperation.
The new company will specialize in servicing FLSmidth technological equipment used in Uzbekistan’s mining sector. Plans also include localized production of components for this equipment under FLS TEXNO.
The general agreement between the partners was initially signed on September 22, 2025, during President Shavkat Mirziyoyev’s official visit to the United States, coinciding with the 80th session of the UN General Assembly.
FLSmidth, a multinational corporation headquartered in Salt Lake City, USA, and Copenhagen, Denmark, focuses on solutions for the global mining industry.
The establishment of FLS TEXNO is expected to strengthen local service infrastructure and production capacity, supporting Uzbekistan’s mining sector.
