Five girls died from carbon monoxide poisoning

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Five girls died in the Urikzor mahalla of Zangiata district of Tashkent region on the night of 29 December from carbon monoxide poisoning.

Girls aged 15, 9, 5 and 4 years old died as a result of carbon monoxide poisoning from an improvised stove installed in a wall in the house of J. B.

The prosecutor’s office of Zangiota district opened a criminal case against officials of the gas supply organization Zangiotatumangaz under paragraph a) of part 2 of article 207 (official negligence that caused the death of a person) of the Criminal Code.
