First shift of Inha Tashkent Summer school ends
Inha Tashkent Summer School was launched in May 2018. The project is a new initiative of IUT and is directed at the intellectual development and fruitful spending time of children during the summer holidays.
In the first shift, over 240 children aged 9 to 16 years attended the Inha Tashkent Summer School.
Participants were divided into several groups. In the groups, the camp participants took part in logic mathematics, English, entertaining physics, programming, English speaking club with a native speaker, robotics, and a design of thinking lessons.
The junior group studied the creation of various devices from improvised tools, and the senior group learned the basics of creating robots using the Arduino system.
Arduino is a hardware-software tool for creating simple automation systems and robotics.
Within the English speaking club, a specialist from Great Britain, Graeme Medd, helped children improve their communication skills.
One of the features of the training camp is coding lessons. During these lessons, children learn about the basics of programming.
During their free time, the children prepared various performances and presented to each other.
The children, who showed themselves from the best side, receive access to playgrounds, equipped with various game consoles.
