First groups of Uzbek pilgrims fly to Saudi Arabia

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- First group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan flied to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj pilgrimage on 7 August 2017, the Committee on Religious affairs under the Cabinet of Uzbekistan said.

According to the committee, 7,350 Uzbek citizens will fly to Saudi Arabia to perform Hajj pilgrimage from 7 August to 23 August 2017.

On Monday, 470 pilgrims from Uzbekistan headed to Saudi Arabia on flights of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari.

In order to create comfortable conditions for pilgrims, flights to Saudi Arabia will be organized from Bukhara, Samarkand, Qarshi, Namangan and Urgench, as well as Tashkent.

They will return to Uzbekistan from 8 to 24 September 2017.
