First group of pilgrims return to Uzbekistan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
A group of pilgrims from Uzbekistan, which included 175 people, returned from Saudi Arabia to Uzbekistan on 12 March after conducting their Umrah pilgrimage, the Committee on Religious Affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.
Uzbekistan Havo Yollari (Uzbekistan Airways) will carry out 28 flights on Tashkent-Jeddah-Tashkent route and will transport 5,000 pilgrims to conduct Umrah pilgrimage
The committee said that currently 429 people in Mecca and 686 people in Medina are carrying out Umrah piligrimage.
