First group of pilgrims fly to Saudi Arabia

The first group of Uzbek pilgrims, which consists of 170 people, flied to Saudi Arabia on 10 July 2014, the press service of the Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said.
The Umrah-2014 of Ramadan season will continue from 10 to 29 July 2014 and each group will stay in Saudi Arabia for 10 days – three days in Medina and seven days in Mecca.
Overall, 670 pilgrims from Uzbekistan will perform Umrah pilgrimage during Ramadan month. Three special flights on route Tashkent-Jeddah-Tashkent will be conducted for them.
The group of doctors, cooks and members of the working group will provide various services to pilgrims, the committee added.
