First group of pilgrims flies to Saudi Arabia
The Committee on religious affairs under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan said that the group consists of 175 people.
The Committee underlined that about 5,904 people from Uzbekistan will perform Umrah pilgrimage during spring season.
From 15 February to 26 April 2014, pilgrims from Uzbekistan will be delivered from Tashkent to Jeddah with 31 charter flights of Uzbekistan Havo Yollari to perform Umrah pilgrimage rituals.
Uzbek pilgrims will stay Medina during four days and Mecca within six days. They will return to Uzbekistan from 24 February to 5 May 2014.
The group of doctors, cooks and members of the working group will provide various services to pilgrims, the committee added.
