First Destination by Hyatt Resort in Central Asia to Open in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Uzbekistan is set to become the ninth country worldwide to host the international hotel brand Destination by Hyatt, a prestigious collection of hotels and resorts that emphasize authenticity and reflect the unique character of each location.

The country is currently developing the first Destination by Hyatt property in Central Asia. The Beldersoy Resort & SPA is under construction in the Bostanlyk District, near the Beldersoy ski slopes, with its official opening scheduled for spring 2026.

The new resort will play a key role in the region’s tourism infrastructure, featuring 109 hotel rooms and 39 villas designed for guests seeking high levels of comfort and service.

According to the project’s owner, Hotel Invest Group, total investment in construction amounts to US$130 million. Over 1,500 jobs have already been created during construction, with more than 590 permanent positions expected after the resort opens.

“The Beldersoy Resort & SPA will become a major destination for active leisure and mountain tourism in Uzbekistan. The project emphasizes environmental sustainability, preserving natural landscapes, implementing wastewater treatment systems, and incorporating modern water purification and energy-saving technologies,” the company stated.

Currently, Destination by Hyatt properties operate in eight countries, including the United States, Canada, Peru, the United Kingdom, Greece, Spain, Italy, and Croatia.

The opening of the Beldersoy resort in Uzbekistan will mark a significant step in promoting the country as a premium tourism destination on the international market.
