First 100 Uzbek Citizens Sign Employment Contracts with Slovenian Employers
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Slovenian employers have signed the first employment contracts with 100 Uzbek citizens under an organized labor program implemented by the Uzbekistan Migration Agency in cooperation with the Employment Service of the Republic of Slovenia.
Special events were held in Tashkent, as well as in the Samarkand and Bukhara regions. In Samarkand, a delegation led by Greta Metka, head of the Slovenian Employment Service, visited professional skills centers and highly praised the conditions created for vocational training. Slovenian employers presented vacancies in six sectors, with 200 candidates undergoing the selection process.
In Bukhara, new joint projects in labor migration were discussed. It was noted that Slovenia currently has more than 160,000 job openings, and the demand for specialists from Uzbekistan continues to grow.
As a result of these meetings, 100 citizens signed employment contracts, gaining the opportunity to work officially in Slovenia.
