Fire Extinguished in Two-Story Building on Istirohat Street, Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A fire broke out in a two-story building in the Shaykhantakhur district of Tashkent, the city rescue service reported.

The incident on Istirohat Street was reported via the 112 emergency system on 26 November at 14:54. Four fire and rescue units arrived at the scene by 15:03. The fire was contained by 15:09 and completely extinguished by 15:15.

The blaze damaged the roof and interior spaces of the building, affecting an area of approximately 100 sq. m.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the fire and assessing the resulting damage.
