Fire Extinguished in Abandoned Three-Story Building in Bukhara Region

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — On 30 September, a fire broke out in an abandoned three-story building in the Shurobod mahalla of Yangihayot village, Jondor district, Bukhara region.

The report of the fire was received by the Main Department of Emergency Situations at 19:17.

Six fire and rescue teams arrived at the scene by 19:20. The blaze was contained by 19:30 and fully extinguished by 20:55.

According to preliminary data, there were no casualties. Specialists are currently working to determine the cause of the fire and assess the extent of the damage.
