Fire catches warehouse of the “Humo Arena” ice palace

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- On 26 December, at 10:35 a fire broke out in a room designated as a warehouse on the site of a parking lot under construction near the erected ice complex “Humo Arena” in Chilanzar distict.

According to the police department of Tashkent, building materials were burning.

Fire was extinguished at 11:21 hours due to efforts of fire departments of the Fire Safety Administration. Nobody injured.

The preliminary cause of fire is a violation of fire safety regulations during welding. The amount of damage is determined now/

Measures are being taken to improve the quality of fire safety at the construction site, including, preventive work has been strengthened with the employees involved in the contracting organization.
