Fifth Gold Medal for Uzbekistan: Temurbek Giyazov Crowned World Champion

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The World Para Athletics Championships are concluding in New Delhi, India.

The men’s high jump competition in the T64 category reached its finale, where Uzbekistan’s Temurbek Giyazov achieved a jump of 2.03 meters.

The 29-year-old athlete not only set a new personal record but also won the gold medal at the World Championships.

Uzbekistan’s team now has a total of five gold, four silver, and two bronze medals.
