FIFA President Gianni Infantino Arrives in Tashkent

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — At the invitation of the Uzbekistan Football Association, FIFA President Gianni Infantino has arrived in Tashkent to discuss joint projects aimed at developing football in the country.

During his visit, he will review the activities of the National Football Center and attend the final match of the CAFA Nations Cup 2025, which will be held at one of the capital’s stadiums.

At Tashkent International Airport, the FIFA delegation was welcomed by Uzbekistan’s Minister of Sports Adkham Ikramov, Vice President of the Olympic Council of Asia and First Deputy Chairman of the National Olympic Committee Otabek Umarov, UFA First Vice President Ravshan Irmatov, as well as other officials.
