Festive fireworks light up night sky as Uzbekistan celebrates Independence Day
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- Festive fireworks appear in the night sky of Tashkent on 1 September as Uzbekistan celebrated the 27th anniversary of Independence.
Thousands of residents and guests of the capital came to the People’s Friendship Square in Tashkent to watch the fireworks.
The fireworks from 21:00 to 21:15 was broadcast live on monitors in 15 parks in Tashkent.
