Ferghana to launch vocational college for digital professions in partnership with Russian Synergy Corporation
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A new vocational college for digital professions is set to be established in the city of Ferghana as part of a cooperation agreement between Khayrullo Bozorov, Governor of the Ferghana region, and Mikhail Yerofeyev, Vice President of the Russian Synergy Corporation.
During the meeting, the Synergy Corporation — one of Russia’s largest educational and innovation clusters — presented its operations, which span more than 50 organizations in the fields of education, digital technology, marketing, sales, and academic management.
The sides discussed key issues including: career guidance for youth in in-demand digital fields, training of competitive, job-ready professionals, and the advancement of modern ICT education in the region.
The main outcome of the talks was the agreement to establish the Synergy College of Digital Professions in Ferghana. The college will implement a dual diploma program in cooperation with Synergy’s Russian technical college, enabling graduates to earn degrees recognized in both Uzbekistan and the Russian Federation.
Following the meeting, both parties agreed to begin developing a roadmap outlining the specific steps required for the practical implementation of the project.
