Ferghana Sees Growth in Chinese-Funded Construction Projects

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Ferghana region, Khairullo Bozorov, hosted a delegation of investors led by Liu Yuntao, CEO of the Chinese company Jujiang Construction Group Co. Ltd.

During the meeting, the parties discussed establishing mutually beneficial cooperation and implementing promising joint projects in the region’s construction sector.

Bozorov emphasized that economic and investment ties between Uzbekistan and China have reached a new level, with growing interest from foreign investors in doing business in Ferghana. The investors were provided with detailed information about the region’s potential and economic opportunities.

Jujiang Construction Group, with extensive experience in the construction industry, presented its activities and expressed readiness to participate in developing Ferghana’s infrastructure. The company’s plans include preparing master plans for territories, establishing construction materials production, and executing projects in partnership with local consulting firms.

The Hokim noted that large-scale construction work is underway in the region, including new residential areas and modern urban complexes, with particular attention to leveraging advanced international experience.

At the conclusion of the meeting, both sides agreed to accelerate the implementation of agreed projects and support the proposed investment initiatives.
