Ferghana Region Seeks Chinese Investment in Tourism

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khayrullo Bozorov, held meetings with representatives of the Chinese company Beijing Top Vision and Chen Minbo, director of Hunan Zhongwei Group Co., Ltd., which manages major projects in the region.

Discussions focused on opportunities for new joint tourism initiatives in the village of Shahimardan. Chinese investors proposed a range of projects aimed at developing tourism infrastructure and creating conditions for year-round recreational activities.

The Hokim highlighted Shahimardan’s unique tourism potential, expressed readiness to support investor initiatives, and emphasized the importance of implementing projects based on carefully developed plans.

The meeting also addressed ways to improve existing projects, expand the range of services, and enhance the region’s appeal to tourists.

Both sides agreed on coordinated measures to further develop mutually beneficial cooperation and implement proposed initiatives to strengthen Ferghana Region’s tourism potential.
