Ferghana Region and Japanese Company Stone System Agree on IT Sector Development and Youth Training

Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Hokim of Ferghana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, held a meeting with a delegation led by Matsumaru Motoyasu, Director of the Japanese company Stone System Co., Ltd., to discuss prospects for cooperation in the field of information technology.

The regional leader emphasized that the development of the IT sector is one of the key drivers of Ferghana’s economy and highlighted the importance of Japanese expertise in this area.

Matsumaru Motoyasu outlined plans to open a branch of the company in Ferghana. This initiative is expected not only to enhance the knowledge and skills of local youth in IT but also to create new employment opportunities.

The Japanese side also intends to organize professional development programs for Ferghana’s youth in Japan, including training in cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, and software development.

The Hokim expressed support for these initiatives, noting that the establishment of the Stone System Co., Ltd. branch would become an important opportunity for the professional growth of young specialists in the region. Specific measures and next steps for implementing the cooperation were agreed upon at the conclusion of the meeting.
