Ferghana and Türkiye Agree on Joint Tourism Projects
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A meeting was held at the Association of Turkish Travel Agencies with the participation of representatives from Ferghana Region, travel agencies from Türkiye, and relevant organizations.
During the event, the tourism potential of the region was presented in detail by Nuriddin Mamadjonov, Deputy Hokim of Ferghana Region.
To increase the flow of tourists from Türkiye to Ferghana, participants discussed implementing joint projects to promote the region, as well as developing cooperation between professional educational institutions in the field of tourism.
Davut Günaydin, Vice President of the Turkish Travel Agencies Association (TÜRSAB), supported the initiatives and agreed to develop a joint action plan.
The first steps include presentations for Ferghana tour operators in Istanbul and Ankara at the end of November, followed by an informational tour of Ferghana Region for leading tour operators from Türkiye in December.
In addition, as part of the cooperation, an agreement was signed between the Ferghana-based company Dilrabo Travel and the Turkish company Tumbalu, marking the start of practical implementation of joint tourism projects.
