Ferghana Advances Green Energy Cooperation with Kyrgyzstan
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — Governor of Uzbekistan’s Ferghana Region, Khairullo Bozorov, met with Abubakir Rakhmonov, head of the Kyrgyz company SADAF ENERGY. The main topic of discussion was the implementation of promising joint projects in the energy sector.
Special focus was given to a project for producing components for next-generation energy equipment, including generators.
SADAF ENERGY specializes in energy resource production, the development of renewable energy sources—particularly solar and small-scale hydroelectric power—as well as the modernization of energy infrastructure.
The parties also discussed investment attraction and practical project implementation. The new green energy project is planned to be located in the industrial zone of Ferghana city.
The governor emphasized that such promising initiatives will receive full support from regional authorities.
During the meeting, measures for further cooperation and phased implementation of joint projects were agreed upon.
