Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — The Uzbekistan national boxing team claimed its first gold medal at the ongoing World Championship in England.
In the 75 kg weight category, Fazliddin Erkinboev defeated Bulgaria’s Kivan Rami in the final.
With this victory, Uzbekistan has secured a total of four medals at the Liverpool World Championship: one gold and three bronze.
