FAO Subregional Coordinator for Central Asia hold talks at MFERIT
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) --
Subregional Coordinator of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) for Central Asia Yuriko Shoji held a meeting at the Ministry of Foreign Economic Relations, Investments and Trade of Uzbekistan on 17 September 2014.
At the talks, the sides discussed issues of further expanding bilateral practical cooperation, taking into account that FAO office started its work in Tashkent.
Yuriko Shoji underlined fruitful results of the conference “About main food programme implementation of reserves in Uzbekistan”, which was held in Tashkent on 5-6 June and became important international event in ensuring global food safety.
