Family of Four, Including Two Children, Dies in Suspected Poisoning in Bukhara
Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) — A family of four, including two minors, died in a multi-story building in Bukhara on 23 November, authorities reported.
The victims included a 43-year-old man, his 40-year-old wife, and their two daughters. Preliminary findings from forensic experts indicate that the deaths were caused by acute disruption of cardiac and respiratory functions.
The incident was confirmed by Hayot Shamsutdinov, spokesperson for the General Prosecutor’s Office. The Bukhara city prosecutor’s office is conducting an investigation to determine the full circumstances and cause of the deaths.
Social media users have speculated that carbon monoxide poisoning may have been involved, but official authorities have not confirmed this.
