Tashkent, Uzbekistan (UzDaily.com) -- The Resolution of the President "On additional measures for the further development of public-private partnerships in the field of preschool education" was adopted.
In accordance with the Resolution, from 1 September 2022:
- in family non-state kindergartens:
- if the number of children from families in need of social support and a special contingent attending kindergarten is less than 70 percent of the total number of pupils, then it is allowed to accept children from other families for the missing part;
- it is allowed to allocate up to 4.5 staff units for the positions of educator and educator-assistant;
- a subsidy to cover the costs associated with the payment of wages to educators and assistant educators is transferred from the budget directly to the plastic card of these employees;
- in kindergartens operating on the basis of public-private partnership, including family kindergartens:
- when calculating subsidies and compensations from the budget, pupils aged 3 years and older, but not older than 7 years 8 months, are taken into account;
- admission of children under the age of 3 years is allowed, with independent determination of the size of the parental fee;
Compensation for natural gas is also paid to PPP-based kindergartens and non-state kindergartens that do not have a centralized gas supply but use other types of heating.
